Lord Jesus,

We pray our children and grandchildren trust in You as their Good Shepherd. Let them receive your loving care with open and grateful hearts; let them lie down in green pastures, free from fear, hunger, health issues and relational problems.

We pray they have an insatiable thirst for things of God and not of man. Let them avoid the temptation of complacency, over-commitment and self-indulgence. Let them walk in an intimate relationship with You, avoiding the enemy’s snares.

Let them come to Your table and feast on Your sacrifice of love. And let them be assured of the goodness of Your salvation, confident that “they will dwell in the House of the Lord forever” (Psalm 23:6).

In Your Name, we pray.

Amen.
