And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:10-11).

Abba Father,

We pray that You shield our impressionable grandchildren from the worldview of Christmas, namely commercialism and materialism. Please turn their hearts to wonder and joy of that first Christmas morning. Let them discover the True Meaning of Christmas—that Your Son is the greatest Gift of all—and let this discovery change their lives forever.
