Abba Father,

We say goodbye to 2020, thankful for Your unfailing presence. We were “afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9).

We celebrate the start of 2021, confident that Your Son is “making all things new” (Revelation 21:5). In Christ Jesus, the victory is won! He holds our past, present and future in His hands.

To Him be give the glory, now and forever.

Amen.
