Heavenly Father,

Today we intercede on behalf of those who mourn the loss of a loved one, especially during the holidays. We pray You comfort them with Your undeniable Presence.

Please give them courage, so they can face one more moment, one more hour and one more day. Let them place their hope in the One whom we celebrate this season; the One Who swallowed “up death forever… and wipes away tears from all faces” (Isaiah 25:8).

In Christ’s Name, we pray.

Amen
