Father God,

Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to die the cross for us. Through Him, we have “gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand” (Romans 5:2).

Thank You for showering us with material blessings such as warm clothes, fuel in our gas tanks, food in our pantries, a hot shower at the end of the day and a place to call home.

Thank You for the people in our life, especially our families, neighbors, churches and communities in which we live.

Thank You for our five senses and the ability to learn, adapt, communicate, heal and care for our daily needs. Thank You for good health and the gift of life.

Help us to be mindful for those less fortunate than ourselves. Let us serve them as the hands and feet of Christ, interceding for in prayer and offering them a helping hand during their times of sickness, bereavement or need.

In Christ Name, we pray.
