Lord Jesus,

The greatest legacy we can leave to grandchildren is the legacy of our prayers for their salvation. They are the apple of our eye, without a doubt. However, like us, they sin and “fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). They need to be washed in Your blood.

We pray the Holy Spirit bears witness to the Truth, opening their eyes to Christ’s atoning work on the cross. Let our grandchildren repent of their sin and invite You into their lives as Savior and Lord. Give them the assurance that whoever believes in You “does not come into judgment but has passed from death to life” (John 5:24).

We offer these intercessions because we can’t imagine eternity without our precious grandchildren.

In Your Name, we pray.
