Heavenly Father,

Our hearts are troubled for our adult children, who carry heavy burdens and face difficult decisions during the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown.

They striving to keep their family healthy by enforcing social distancing in a household of bored and disgruntled children. They are juggling their finances and attempting to pay their bills, despite decreased wages, pay cuts and in some cases, unemployment.

We pray they don’t suffer from anxiety or despair; instead, let them turn to You in prayer. “In everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let their requests be made known to God. And let the peace of God, which surpasses all understand, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:4-7, paraphrased) now and forever.

In Jesus’ Name, we pray.

Amen.
