Heavenly Father,

We pray that our grandchildren relinquish their hurt to You when others offend or mistreat them. Please wash away their anger, bitterness, hurt, disappointment, malicious thoughts and desire to seek revenge. Let them abound with love and forgiveness, seventy-times-seven, if need be. Let them “be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as Christ forgave them” (Ephesians 4:32, paraphrased).

In Christ’s Name, we pray.
